What QSec does

QSec, operated by EquipSecond QSec Medical LLC is a healthcare technology company developing multimodal bedside intelligence for neonatal and critical care.

Our technology connects physiologic data and medical-device information with bedside context—including video, audio, depth, thermal and environmental sensing—to create a synchronized view of the patient journey.

QSec’s work is rooted in neonatal and critical-care research spanning multimodal sensing, bedside activity recognition, medical-device integration, clinical AI and data standardization. This research foundation informs the development of our technologies, including Architect™, NeoSight™, SIA™, and QSec™.

Our goal is not to replace clinicians. We are building technology that gives the bedside a better memory—helping clinical and research teams capture context, reconstruct events, support documentation and better understand what happened around the patient when physiology changed.

Why QSec exists

Connecting what happens inside the patient with what happens around the patient Critical-care environments generate enormous amounts of data, but the complete patient story is often fragmented across monitors, medical devices, clinical documentation and bedside activity. QSec’s vision is to connect these signals and events into a synchronized clinical picture—helping researchers and care teams understand not only how a patient’s physiology changed, but also the clinical and environmental context surrounding that change. Every bedside is data-rich. We make it context-rich.

  • The Challenge

    • Clinical environments generate large volumes of disconnected data
    • Important bedside context is often difficult to capture and review
    • Documentation and workflow demands continue to increase
  • Our Approach

    • Connect devices, workflows, and clinical context into a unified view
    • Use multimodal sensing and edge AI to capture bedside context
    • Support clinicians with intelligent documentation and event review tools
  • Market Focus

    • Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU)
    • Critical Care & Acute Care Environments
    • Intelligent Clinical Documentation & Workflow Support
